About Nadir Bircanoglu

I have 24 years of experience in the logistics sector with the primary focus on airfreight (import and export). During this time I have been involved in all aspects of the job including airline procurement, contract negotiations with external service providers and creating customized solutions and quotations for our customers. I worked 10 years within a Europe Region Global Process team based at Cologne Airport. In this challenging role I travelled extensively throughout the Europe Region to review and optimize operating processes, design solutions to complex issues and deliver operational systems training, mainly in English but also in German and Turkish where it was required to ensure full and complete understanding. I have received extremely positive feedback from trainees and their management on the quality and professionalism of the training I provided. In 2018 - July 2019 I worked on two different projects which also included trainings outside of Germany. I analyzed the requirements, performed user acceptance testing in our system, created training material and then trained the people affected by these new processes. During the go-live phase I supported the employees until the change was set properly into the new process flow. During the last 10 years I have gained new skills and improved my knowledge in various areas of the freight forwarding and logistics industry. I have enjoyed being part of a team and working co-dependently with other parts of the business to ensure we are consistently improving the service we provide to our internal and external customers. In July 2019 I started my new role as the air export manager at DHL Global Forwarding located in CGN. Managing and leading all operational matters with my great 15 team members. Leadership trainings helped me to improve my skills and knowledge for this job.
