About Nadya Culic

My background in the health sciences coupled with my diverse business-focused extracurriculars have fueled my interest in the interdisciplinary field of business and science. As a current master’s student in the Biomedical Technology program (MBT) at the University of Calgary, I will bridge these passions and develop industry-specific skills, shaping me into an asset within the biotech industry. I have a unique perspective on biomedical problems as a result of my educational background in the social determinants of health and disability research. I’ve also investigated potential therapeutics for Alzheimer’s using PyMol and other software to visualize protein-protein interactions and cell-signaling pathways, which I am particularly interested in exploring further. My eagerness to learn, discipline and enthusiasm for health innovation will enable me to excel in the biotech field.
