About Nagad Moalin

I’m an Operating Room Registered Nurse. I have earned a BScN degree from the UofA in 2019. I have gained knowledge and experience working in the Operating Room, PACU, Day surgery, Preoperative Teaching. I’ve completed my perioperative course through AORN and I am currently a member of the ORNAC. I’ve been working and training as a nurse circulator and scrub since April 2020. Through nursing school I have gained experience working in healthcare fields such as mental health, acute care (medicine & surgery), critical care (PACU,ICU), public health, Maternity, and pediatrics. I’ve had the opportunity to understand, care and advocate for individuals with different backgrounds and levels of health. I strive to provide safe ethical, competent, individualized care. I’m interested in potentially influencing public healthcare policies affecting Canadians everyday. I had the opportunity to represent my federal riding in the 2019 Daughters of the Vote conference. I have a history of working in the non-profit organization industry and volunteer experience within my community. Skilled in Customer Service, BLS, PALS, Health Promotion, and Mental Health/Suicide Prevention and several more.
