About Nagisa Tajima

Until High School After completing 6 years of elementary school, I moved to Beijing, China to enter middle school. I initially attended a Japanese school in Beijing, but after 2 and a half years, I made the decision to transfer to an international school, Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) to start high school. Starting from no English experience, I managed to improve my English proficiency throughout my one year at WAB. After a year, I moved back to Japan to complete high school at Saint Maur International School which helped to brush up my English skills. As a result, I graduated with a Bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2017. Living in an environment completely different from Japan and being surrounded by people who have different cultural background made me acquire various views and perspectives. University Currently, I am studying psychology and environment at International Christian University to obtain a bachelor’s degree. While maintaining average GPA of 3.9, I have recently begun to work for two companies as an intern. These experiences made me become a responsible independent person who aims to achieve a goal set by myself. I’m most passionate about human health and well-being so I’m hoping to contribute improving human health and well-being.
