I am a results-oriented and highly skilled associate scientist with over five years of experience in GLP-compliant drug discovery, specializing in cell biology, bacteriology, mycology, and immunology. As an Associate Scientist at Thryv Therapeutics in Montreal, Quebec, I am dedicated to advancing groundbreaking research in the field of SGK1 inhibitors and their potential in diverse cancer cell lines. My career journey has been characterized by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and a desire to make a positive impact on healthcare. Currently, I am transitioning to clinical trial associate where I am involved with designing study protocols and reviewing documents for the approval of SGK1 inhibitors for phase 1 trial. As an associate scientist, I was leading research on SGK1 inhibitors, where my primary responsibilities included evaluating their potency, developing resistant cell lines, and conducting combination studies. I meticulously proofread documents for FDA Approval and Phase 1 Clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. My education and experience include a Master of Science degree in medical microbiology along with 2 years of experience working in a Medical hospital lab setting and over 5 years with a pharmaceutical company. During my past position at Paraza Pharma, I conducted cellular assays on small molecules and checked the expression of the protein of interest. I have experience working on the induction and purification of proteins, performing the transformation, protein extraction, and purification, and confirming the purity by running SDS-PAGE, western blots. I have experience working in BSL2 on antifungal potency and did a bunch of MIC assays on 96 well plates to assess the activity of compounds against fungi like Cryptococcus neoformans, Candida albicans, and Aspergillus fumigatus. At the lab of Innate Immunity at the National Institute of Immunology in Delhi India, I was working on Irf8 ubiquitination in HEK293 cells. This involved major techniques like Transfection, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunoblotting. During my time serving as a laboratory researcher at the F.H. Medical College and Hospital in Agra India, I worked on CONS (Coagulase Negative Staphylococci), the biofilm producers, and their antibiogram pattern.
