About Nahyan Islam

I am a highly driven and ambitious Citizenship and Politics teacher and curriculum middle leader, relentless in my commitment to delivering strong outcomes and preparing young people to become informed, responsible, and active citizens. I believe education should equip students not only for examinations, but for their role in society, developing political literacy, critical thinking, and character. Alongside this, I am passionate about developing early career teachers, supporting others to succeed through clear expectations, strong mentoring, and purposeful leadership. I am keen to further develop my leadership practice and aspire to the role of Early Careers Director, where I can drive impact for both students and teachers.Opportunities interested in- Public speaking (e.g. events, schools, uni, etc)- Examiner (subject specific)- Leadership training
