Naim Sedira is a PhD in civil engineering, He concluded his Doctor degree in November 2021 with a thesis: Novel waste-based alkali-activated binders by combining mining and other mineral waste. Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture, University of Beira Interior,(PT), November 2021.He concluded his Master’s degree in summer 2015 with a thesis on the: “Correlative study of soils at risk: a case of expansive soils in University of Bordj Bou Arreridj”, Algeria. His research interest is the reuse of mining and quarrying waste as alkali- activated based binders. Specifically, microstructure and physical-mechanical properties.He was researcher member (2016-2018) on “REMINE- Reuse of Mining Waste into Innovative Geopolymeric-based Structural Panels, Precast, Ready Mixes and Insitu Applications”, granted by the European Commission under Horizon 2020 MARIE SkłodowskaCURIE Actions, Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE), with project N. 645696 (https://reminemsca.wordpress.com).
