I am a driven professional with 10+ years of experience supporting immigrants in their journey to becoming U.S. citizens through trauma-informed legal advocacy, bilingual communication and cross-functional collaboration. Most recently, I worked as a Paralegal, conducting intakes and legal research, preparing complex immigration filings, and supporting clients and attorneys in meeting time-sensitive deadlines. My background has shaped me to be an empathetic listener, strong communicator and team player, and detail-oriented problem solver. With a deep understanding of cultural nuance, I am able to create a rapport with clients, centering their comfort during vulnerable moments. I have experience working with clients living in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange County and the New York Metropolitan Area. I am currently exploring new opportunities - both in and outside the legal field - that allow me to continue empowering communities while growing professionally and collaborating creatively. I am especially drawn to roles that will give me the opportunity to utilize my fluency in Spanish and English and where cultural humility, communication, organization and advocacy intersect.
