Background

About Najee Jeremiah

As a Howard University student, I became a small business owner at the young age of 18, which taught me the importance of taking ownership of my work as if I owned my employer's business. This experience has instilled in me a strong sense of work ethic and entrepreneurship that has stayed with me throughout my career. Over the years, I have supported myself through various short-term jobs while pursuing my Bachelor's degree. These jobs have provided me with a wealth of experience in retail, logistics, temping, and teaching. I have applied this diverse experience to my work with a successful education business called YsUp. By understanding and addressing the problems in the market and relating to the consumer, I have been able to edge out my competition. In addition to my work in education, I have spent the last 10 years in the music industry as a recording artist and executive. Through my journeys in both the music industry and education technology industry, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. However, I believe that my journey has only just begun. My experience, industry knowledge, and skill set have prepared me to take on new challenges and opportunities. I am confident that I have the drive and determination to continue to achieve success in both the education and music industries. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.
