About Nakai Evans

Having recently joined the Company as an Estimator, I will confess to still being a little star-struck – one day, we’ll be adding to a famous building’s history going back hundreds of years, the next, we could be working with modern composites and the latest technology or restoring Georgian stucco. Regardless, the sense of responsibility and privilege is always present. My Memorable Case StudyThey say you never forget your first – and my first project was one of those unassuming art deco gems still standing. The former Randalls Department Store in Uxbridge High Street (built 1937-1938) and closed in 2015. Its been converted to residential and we repaired and restored the original faience tiling and cleaned the façade using safe masonry detergent and a proprietary cleaning system. Prelude Stone ltd is a family business with over 35 years’ experience cleaning, restoring and renovating stone, brick, stucco and all related materials. We employ both traditional skills and the most up-to-date techniques as appropriate. We work across a wide range of buildings, old and new, from iconic landmarks including the Tower of London and Hampton Court to modest semis and commercial buildings; from major restoration and construction projects as a specialist subcontractor to schools, churches and stucco facades.Of course, this means we can only work with the most skilful and dedicated professionals - if your skill set could match ours, please do get in touch. Information about how we work is found on our website: you have any questions or something you’d like to discuss, please get in touch: nakai@preludestone.co.uk
