About Nakia Abreu

If my last employer were asked what two words described me best, they would reply: Team Player. My ability to adapt to change and work for the greater good of the organization has consistently been one of my greatest assets and my recipe for success. I have 14+ years of working as an administrative professional in customer service oriented positions in the government health care and property and casualty insurance industries. I held my most recent position, as an Assistant Underwriter with a specialty transportation insurance company for eight years and was frequently pulled into time-sensitive special projects and often commended for a job well done. I earned an Associate in General Insurance Designation (AINS) and Associate in Insurance Services Designation (AIS) and am currently studying for the Associate in Commercial Underwriting Designation (AU). My long-term goal is to acquire a CPCU, as I continue to grow as an insurance professional.
