About Nakia Smith

I went from 206 pounds and struggling with yo yo dieting to competing in bodybuilding competitions. But one day I was training for a bodybuilding competition overseas and I became too tired to exercise. When I went to the Doctor, I was diagnosed with not 1, but 2 autoimmune diseases. When my Doctor started diagnosing me with a 3rd autoimmune disease, I KNEW something was missing. And that's when I uncovered a secret to optimal health. I was able to overcome debilitating fatigue and heal from the symptoms of autoimmune. And that's just my 20 year personal experience with health. My passion for health started from the time I was little. I would watch the surgery channel and play with my Mom's stethoscopes. It didn't stop there -I went to summer school just so I can go to cosmetology school for 2 years and get learn about cosmetology-Next I went to Michigan State and did genetic research while I learned all about the mind, graduating with a BS in psychology and a concentration in premed studies-I moved back to Virginia where I got a bachelors in nursing and left to work in the ER for 3 years-I left nursing and started my own online business selling crystals, and began creating courses on crystal healing, meditation, and spirituality- I became a certified personal trainer, nutrition specialist, weight loss specialist, and DNA specialist -Created a Wellness Program and Fitness Festival or a non profit organization that stopped hospital visits, helped clients lose weight, and improved their quality of life. The participants continued to lose weight after the program was over-I worked as a product specialist for Life Extension, reading functional lab and creating supplement protocols-I then brought all my knowledge and experience together as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. I help highly motivated women uncover the reason why they are having symptoms and heal without drugs or surgery so that they can excel in their career and life.
