About Nakul Desai

My journey in finance has been such an exciting adventure, filled with opportunities to apply my knowledge in meaningful ways. From trading to clearing all three levels of the CFA program, I am always looking to learn and grow. As an Enterprise Risk Intern at Hightower Advisors, I had the chance to dive into risk management, analyzing and mitigating risks while getting hands-on experience in building stronger risk frameworks. During my Master’s program, I sharpened my skills in financial analysis, research, and risk management which deepened my understanding of analyzing companies and forecasting financial performance. Paired with my background in options trading, it has given me a well-rounded view of managing risk and making smart investment decisions. I have built a strong foundation in economics and finance, which helps me adapt quickly to fast-paced environments, whether it is doing financial analysis or putting together investment strategies. What I love most about finance is how it is always evolving—there is always something new to learn. Beyond the numbers, I love connecting with people and exchanging ideas.
