I am an ambitious and enthusiastic physicist with strong background in material science. I am interested in application of first-Principles modeling and machine learning in material science including: • Application of first-principles simulations to understand the chemical reaction at interfaces. • Development and application of computational methods to study atomic-scale friction and superlubricity of 2D materials. • Using computational approaches to investigate chemical reactions activated by mechanical stresses and design materials to reduce friction. • Applying ab initio DFT calculations for mechanistic understanding and designing materials such as oxygen reduction reaction, oxygen evolution reactions, CO2 reduction reaction.etc. • Applying machine learning and first-principles simulations to designing new materials.
