Code inspires me. I build multi-tiered, secure, feature rich, responsive web applications using my skills in Java, SpringBoot (MVC, Integration, JPA), OAuth, Microservices, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, SQL, Maven, Git, Docker and AWS (basics). I have experience building large scale RESTful APIs, event driven systems and mobile optimized user interfaces.My major goals when it comes to building web apps are:1) Above and beyond user experience - I incorporate features such as passwordless login, responsive layout and mobile optimization into my design.2) Writing robust, quality code - I write extensible, reusable, high quality code that meet business, technical and quality requirements. I am a stickler for design patterns, SOLID principles, efficient error handling, clean and readable code and architectural patterns.3) Writing testable code - All my code undergo stringent testing using JUnit (for unit testing) and WireMock(for self contained integration testing). The tests are a part of my CI/CD pipeline and the code doesn’t go to production if some important parts are not covered by tests. 4) Logging and monitoring - I have hands on experience building dashboards and automating reports in Splunk, which helped reduce debugging time by 30% at my previous role.I’m always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, or just interesting creative folks, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect.
