About Nancy Avalone

Nancy Avalone, LMHC, started her professional career in the Commercial Real Estate Management business sector. After becoming a foster parent, her desire to assist at-risk children and their families changed her career focus to mental health where she has been working with children and and families dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders since 2003. Her experience working with families involved in the juvenile justice system began in 2007, delivering FFT evidence-based therapy. In 2009 she became the program manager/director for the Florida Redirection Program in Circuits six and thirteen. Her business acumen and clinical skills transformed the program to be one of the most successful VisionQuest programs in the Country. In September of 2014, Nancy joined Children's Home Society as their Mid Florida Clinical Program Director for outpatient behavioral health services Medicaid, where her project management skills built a 5 County outpatient program with 40 clinicians serving 1500 community members. Current experience for the last 6 plus years in Managed Care in various State markets, specifically Behavioral Health Utilization Management, with the largest provider in the Nation, ensuring members receive the proper care to meet their needs.
