About Nancy Bazinet

I am currently working as a full time Health Records Technician in the Clinical Information Services Department at Waypoint Centre for Mental Helth Care. We are an internationally recognized psychiatric hospital and forensic mental health research facility and we are located on the shores of Georgian Bay in the Town of Penetanguishene, Ontario. I have had the privledge of working in a customer service capacity as a Certified Health Information Manager, assisting many disciplines within the facility, as well as patients registered with Waypoint. I was a member of the ADT Implementation Working Group. In this capacity I assisted with building, testing, training as we implemented the Admission, Discharge and Transfer (ADT) System of Meditech which is the foundation for the Electronic Health Record.Waypoint offers many opportunities for Health Information Mangers as they move toward a fully integrated electronic health record. I am excited and looking forward to the coming years as we move toward the electronic health record as well as creating new friendships with Ontario Shores and Meditech.
