Well, it's been a while since I had to fill in this little box. Was it always just 2,600 characters? Wait, spaces count (hard to break the two spaces after a period habit but I'm extremely adaptable). But honestly, how the heck do I fit in 12 years of e-commerce experience at Mastermind Toys and over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry in this space? OK, think high level. I'm a highly motivated marketing professional. Too stiff non? Basically, when I'm really passionate about a product, I love to find engaging and creative ways to sell it to others. I've been told that, in my years of bringing wonder to mastermindtoys.com, eComm merchandising is my superhero power.(No capes) I enjoy leading cross-functional teams and working with external partners to create elevated merchandising moments. I love numbers and analytics, especially when spotting trends and driving eComm growth. I'm a problem-solver. I enjoy a challenge and I'm too stubborn to accept that something can't be executed. I'm all about content and data integrity, I can spot a typo in in my sleep. I credit my Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism for my enhanced proofreading and communication powers. I've never met a process flow, road map or editorial calendar that I didn't like. Bonus points if it's colour-coded. I'm customer obsessed. I have an award in my office to prove this. I like to press buttons - a lot.(Just to be clear, buttons on ecomm platforms and apps, not people. I'm really adept at building collaborative team and vendor relationships.) I'm never satisfied with something being "good"- I always want better and enjoy providing valuable insights to prioritize and define the scope of new enhancements. My curiosity drives my need to be a subject matter expert of all the tools in my toolkit. I'm a fearless tester and I love trying to break stuff. I also get too excited when I discover new functionality that will enhance the customer journey, especially when it's free. I'm a great manager - I was just voted the Best Boss Ever by a former co-worker. I'm usually the wittiest person in a teams chat, I have a gif for every occasion. I actively consume social media content, and will share all the best TikToks that come across my FYP. I know way too much about Disney, superheroes, music, celebrities, and pop culture in general. I prefer to go to the movies alone and have been known to watch 3 or more films a day at TIFF. AND, I can also sum up what feels like a lifetime of incredible work experiences in 2,598 characters.adding that to my resume.
