About Nancy Cerritelli

I am a person-centred, humanistic counsellor and psychotherapist with a particular interest in helping people who are struggling with anxiety, overwhelm and burn out. In my experience, these feelings of stress, anxiety and overwhelm often come from a lifetime of trying to make other people happy and the natural result of this is the sense of,"I don't know who I am". When your focus is on other people, it can be really hard to keep track of who you are, hard to listen to (or even hear) that inner voice that is you and, when that voice is neglected, it leads to stress, anxiety, overwhelm and, ultimately, burn out. This is something I have personal experience of which means I am uniquely placed to empathise and understand what it's like for you to navigate the experiences and circumstances that have brought you to this point. This is a journey that takes in, not only the path that has led you to burn out and disconnection from who you are but also the onward journey towards self-compassion, self-care and self-healing.
