We are disputes and litigation lawyers. That said, much of our work involves helping our clients avoid disputes and litigation. We specialise in complex private wealth disputes and litigation, encompassing family, business and commercial disputes, issues arising from intergenerational wealth ownership and transfer, and wills, estates, succession and trust disputes. In cases where parties are close to or already in dispute, our approach is first to understand the family and/or business dynamics, then to seek to resolve any disputes privately and discreetly, as promptly as possible, so as to best preserve family and commercial relationships. Where the transfer of family wealth is in process or on the horizon, the prevention of family disharmony is inevitably better than the cure. Applying our experience with family disputes and litigation, we assist our clients to plan their family and business relationships, succession plans and wealth transfers so as to avoid future disputes. Litigation is always a last resort. However, when litigation is necessary, we pursue it with zeal and efficiency on behalf of our clients.
