Thirty plus years in the convenience store industry. Started in 1975 at Quik Pik that became Fast Fare. Left in 1986 after years in sales and marketing. Worked as a food broker in Charlotte, Associated Brokers, then back in the C-store business at the Pantry, now called Kangaroo. Company sold and found work as a c-store wholesaler with MR Williams, Henderson,NC. Left for opportunity with a start-up chain, Convenience USA.company went bust.moved to Burlington,NC and developed Huff's Neighborhood Store chain for several years.this was Huffman Oil Company. After this experience, decided not to move again and have been working for a fabulous veterinarian practice here, Town N Country Animal Hospital as receptionist. After a two year bout with breast cancer, returned to TNC as Inventory Manager. Still play lots of golf and am now in complete remission. Miss my c-store "family" but love my 4 legged friends.
