About Nancy Cours

With 20 years of experience in health communications, Nancy has an extensive background in digital content management and writing and editing health communications. In addition to web content, Nancy has written magazine articles, educational materials, white papers, annual reports, and other communications pieces for health care professionals, public health professionals, and general consumers.Nancy currently works for Palladian Partners, a health communications firm located in the DC Metro region. She is a digital content manager and, for the last 6 years, has been supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (DHDSP) as a government contractor. Nancy previously supported the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for nearly a decade via the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) Information Clearinghouse's contracts. Prior to that, Nancy was a development writer and editor for the American Diabetes Association and its Research Foundation.Nancy received a Master of Arts in Writing (nonfiction) degree from Johns Hopkins University. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading contemporary fiction, and baking cookies. Most of all, Nancy loves spending time with her family.
