Achieving excellence is always my goal. Learning new tools or new ways to use them in order to complete a task efficiently is an important part of job satisfaction. Cerner Corporation: In 2018, I acquired the trust of a manager in need who took the risk to train me to become a QA Test Analyst for his team. I took that trust seriously and learned a suite of new tools,(including RQM, SQL Workbench, Jira, Eggplant (automation), DNG, Postman, and more) to become an independent and proficient software test analyst that he, the Solution Designer, and the engineers knew could depend on to write thorough Exploratory, UI, or Vertical Regression tests. They came to know that when I said the product was tested enough to be released, they could confidently release to production. In two short years it was understood that I would write the edge case scenarios and follow through to execute them with severe attention to detail. If my written test did not catch a defect, my unscripted testing did. In addition to learning new tools and a completely new role, I also managed to meet deadlines even if the project fell behind. At the company’s most recent townhall, I was recognized for going above and beyond to meet a tight deadline in order to satisfy a client’s expectation and win a previously compromised customer loyalty. Perspecta: In 2015 I joined a new team in HPE (now Perspecta, previously DXC) to become a Manage Security Service Administrator providing access management to more than 10 accounts in the public sector. Access management was executed in both Windows Active Directory, Unix, and HPSM. In addition to completing more tickets than my teammates on a monthly basis, I also assisted my manager, and her manager with timecards, reporting, onboarding new engineers, and liaising the hiring manger with prospective employees using Workday, Glass Door and other screening methods. My days were varied, and busy and I was trusted to get the job done without question. In 2012 I was hired as a contractor through Apex Contracting to be a Technical Solutions Consultant for HP. When the year was up HPE (formerly HP) hired me and I quickly became the team member to open and close the most tickets with completion and satisfaction. This position required system monitoring, reporting, bridge calls, 24 hour availability via phone and email to maintain and troubleshoot the VoIP phone system of the customer. I was the only HPE team member to maintain a position with HPE when the contract with the customer ended.
