Over thirty years working for US Department of Defense organizations as a GS employee and as a contractor. Over eight years work experience at a consulting and software company specializing in cost, performance, predictive and environmental modeling; and more than four years work experience at a Big Five accounting firm. Information Systems Testing and Quality Assurance: Highly proficient in the software quality assurance and testing role to ensure the system being tested meets defined performance objectives and client directives. Have thorough understanding of the iterative software development process, in particular the Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF). DoD Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the Training Pillar in the Readiness and Cost Reporting Program (RCRP). Includes understanding calculations and methods used to report readiness metrics to Defense Readiness Reporting System - Strategic (DRRS-S). Substantial knowledge of the Navy Training Information System (NTIMS) and its associated systems. Includes thorough understanding of Navy training readiness (T-Pillar) applications, in particular, the TFIRM Training Readiness Calculation Engine (TTRCE) and the systems that provide data to TTRCE. Highly knowledgeable in the theory of Navy Mission Essential Tasks (NMETs) and the use of NMETLs in Navy Warfare Training Plans (NWTP) and the reporting of Navy Readiness. Includes the mechanisms and processes involved in creating/approving NMETLs and NWTPs. Have extensive experience in the use of the NTIMS and DRRS-N applications and their reporting environments.
