About Nancy Diettrich

Business is not my first love. I'm far more interested in Medical, Veterinary and Pharacological systems. I did work at Pfizer as a contractor in the mid-90's and thoroughly enjoyed the work I did. I worked for a database company for about 15 years as both a technical consultant and customer service representative. Although I'm a bit rusty, I have an intrinsic understanding of how relational databases are constructed and of information flow. I have considerable experience writing applications in older languages - Fortran and System 1032's 4GL (System 1032 is a relatively unknown database system that ran on the Digital Equipment Corp VAX VMS systems) As a result I have very good diagnostic and problem solving skills and the ability to conceptualize process flow in steps. These abilities are critical to developing and understanding information processing systems. I have worked in the research field in which my Psychology background is very valuable - the understanding of manipulating variables while keeping everything else static. I also know basic statistics. Note: I do not currently have a home computer so I have no way to upload a profile picture. I happened to have the one of one of my cats available and I like it.
