About Nancy Ellen Hale

Ellen Hale has been with Bon Appétit Restaurant for over 14 years. As one of the Front of the House managers at the restaurant, Ellen oversees the hostess station and guest relations; her smiling face is familiar to all of Bon Appétit’s patrons. She recently took on additional responsibilities as Executive Concierge of the Bon Appétit Group (made up of several dining and event venues, including Café Alfresco and the cafes at Honeymoon Island and Hillsborough River State Park). In addition to her high-visibility public relations activities, Ellen is also active behind the scenes, ordering supplies, coordinating the live music and valet parking staff, and cross-training employees. Ellen was born and raised in New Jersey, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. Prior to embarking on her career in restaurant service, Ellen worked in retail management and marketing/management of a bowling center in the Chicagoland area. Ellen has held the Event Venue seat in the Success Alliance chapter of BNI (Business Networking International) for more than nine years.In addition to her involvement with BNI, Ellen is an active member of the Downtown Dunedin Merchants’ Association, serving as the secretary for the executive board and the membership committee, and as a member of the restaurant and the parking committees. Ellen is also a member of ABC Networking and the Bay Area Concierge Association.and the Morton Plant Mease Health Foundation. When she is not working at Bon Appétit or attending a networking group activity, Ellen enjoys bowling, travel, theater, sporting events, and the company of her friends on and off the beach.
