About Nancy Finianos

Regarding my career, I am currently working as a French and Arabic Teacher at Al Mawakeb School since of 2018. I provide engaging language instruction focused on language acquisition and cultural awareness. I create innovative lesson plans that align with the curriculum and best practices while fostering cultural appreciation through interactive activities like exchange events and field trips. I utilize diverse teaching methodologies to encourage student engagement and participation, regularly assess progress, and provide constructive feedback to support language development and build confidence. My goal is to create a dynamic learning environment that inspires students to embrace both languages and their respective cultures. Throughout this journey, I have built a professional trusted relationship with students, parents, other teachers, and tutors from different backgrounds and regions. Moving on to my education, I have completed my Master’s in School Management (MBA), from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in 2018. Moreover, I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Education from Saint Joseph University in 2014. Coming from a language educator backgrounds with a passion towards developing innovative curricula and lesson plans that align with international standards and foster cultural awareness among students, I always dedicate personal and considerable time into researching about the future of this field. It is extremely important to adapt to new changes at work especially with the shift towards a digital technological world which keeps evolving with time, and in that case, adaptability is a key characteristic to be held. Holding such position requires a lot of communication, innovative teaching methods, collaborative leadership, student engagement, curriculum development, cultural awareness, assessment and evaluation. I have acquired and developed these skills through-out my academic and career paths.
