About Nancy Goudreau

Nancy Goudreau has extensive experience in marketing technology solutions as well as identifying specific markets. Prior to joining BDC in 2011, Nancy worked in different Venture Capital organization, where she was responsible for increasing the value of a number of technology and telecommunication-related companies. She began her career working for the federal and provincial governments in export assistance to companies looking to develop and grow new international markets. At BDC, Nancy is responsible for complex transactions (e.g. M&A, change of ownership, international expansion, etc.) and is a Champion for the Women Entrepreneur Strategy. She thrives in supporting entrepreneurs achieve their goals and uses both her knowledge and networks in order to provide the best advices and resources. Nancy brings a rich and critical logic in her understanding of technology and in depth knowledge of optimal financing structure for growing companies. She distinguishes herself by her strong ability to pin-point an organization’s problems and challenges and to propose solutions and resources. Nancy sits and has sat on the board of several technology companies and is currently on the board of director of Réseau des Femmes d'affaires du Québec. She holds a BA in International Business from Concordia University and an MBA in finance from HEC.
