About Nancy Hall

Nancy is an experienced physician E&M coding educator, auditor, and compliance specialist. During her extensive career, she has become a very highly respected auditor and instructor. With an unparalleled ability to understand and convey coding and reimbursement related issues, Nancy has trained thousands of healthcare providers and their coding support staffs nationwide on the importance of proper documentation to optimize reimbursement. In addition, she has conducted several hundred seminars regarding E&M coding and auditing, CMS compliance issues, Teaching Physician guidelines, Incident-To and Split/Shared services, and ICD-10-CM. She is proficient in numerous EMRs, including Epic, Cerner, and Allscripts, and medical coding and auditing software, to include MD audit and Healthicity. Nancy holds her CPC, CCS-P, CRC, and CEMC certifications. She is also a 5 time past president of her local AAPC chapter. Nancy is currently the Senior Profee Coding Consultant at Streamline Health based in Atlanta, GA, where she assists coding compliance departments performing risk adjustment audits, multi-specialty E&M coding audits, and providing corresponding provider education, as well as aiding with government audits, appeals, and denials.
