Education: B.A. In English; Master of Arts in Teaching - Currently an Academic Advisor with PSC (via Keegan Staffing). I enjoy it but am ready to expand my professional network to seek more suitable long-term opportunities. I'd love to work at UWF but also want to get into proofreading and freelance writing. I have a real niche & passion for higher education, writing & grammar, and all things fashion! I'm very skilled, capable, educated, & interested in many diverse things career-wise. I see a door open, make a decision, design a plan & focus on my responsibilities. I am seeking proofreading and writing jobs, freelance or full time, that I can do remotely or, if located in Escambia or Santa Rosa Counties in Florida, I can work on site. I'm also extremely interested in administrative & staff positions within the field of higher education & breaking into fashion & even the interior design business. Additionally, I have a great deal of experience with teaching ABE writing & grammar as well as state college developmental writing; I'm available to do online teaching & tutoring. Other interests of mine are becoming a full-time personal assistant, image consultant, & personal stylist. I am creative, enthusiastic & well-rounded, achieving balance & productivity at home & at work. I have multiple interests & hobbies. For example, I enjoy working with all things fashion & makeup & am a published fashion/makeup blogger at hallofcouture.blogspot.com. I'm a Leadership Bay 2010 graduate (through the Bay County Chamber of Commerce). I served on the GCSC scholarship committee.I attended Oriel College, Oxford University, England through an honors program. I moved to England for years & gained rich & diverse experiences; I travelled to 11 countries & lived in 2 of them. I can benefit your organization in a multitude of ways due to my excellent education, work ethic, & personal experience. I achieve goals by finding creative solutions & focusing on results for your business.
