About Nancy Himmer

Meet Nancy, a skilled training and development manager with 20 years of success developing new custom training programs, revenue acceleration programs, management development programs, online learning and in person facilitation. A strong project manager with a transformational flair for change management, executing lead generation programs, and building high performing teams from scratch. Nancy is a learning and development facilitator and motivational keynote speaker. She entered the sales industry with BFI as a sales representative and was promoted to the Regional Sales Manager of Western Canada. It was there that she taught self created, industry specific sales and marketing programs and increased sales results by triple EBITDA numbers. While at BFI Nancy was approached by WM where she accepted the position of Special Projects Manager, in charge of change management for acquisitions conducted by WM and creating a sales structure for the multiple acquired companies. She was then promoted to Western Canadian Sales Manager overseeing 31 districts and leading 150 customer service, sales and sales managers. As a member of the senior regional leadership team, Nancy developed and facilitated in-person sales training programs, managers in training programs, customer service and call center training and was a led member in restructuring the 31 districts into 5 districts with a centralized call center. Nancy has extensive experience developing business plans, driving revenue generation plans, budgeting, P&L responsibilities including reporting earnings to Wall Street analysts. When WM centralized their regional offices to one central office in Eastern Canada Nancy chose to stay in Western Canada and opened her own sales training and business consulting and coaching company. She developed custom training programs for Rumpke Disposal teaching over 600 of their customer service, sales and management team and taught a large variety of corporations including Chevron, Qualcomm, BOMA, Honda, Interpol Police, and multiple healthcare providers. Nancy is a certified D.E.I Sales trainer, a 360 Leadership and DISC facilitator. Certified speaker, certified adult educator, certified Achieve Global sales training, and an adjunct professor from UCSD Rady School of Management teaching custom programs for Time Management and Meeting Management. Nancy has extensive experience with event organization and leading train the trainer programs. She is an active volunteer with vulnerable children organizations.
