I was an Activity Aide as well as an Activity Assistant Director. I then became Activity Director. I am able to mange a team up to 9 employees. I been in the health care field since 2006. I have my Activity Directors Certificate since 2015. Went to Oakon Community College. I also have my certification in Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care. I have gained more experience at Lexington Health as the Memory Care Manger now known as Warren Barr of Orland Park. I assure that documentation such as Quaterly, Assessments and Care plans as well as MDS are completed in a timely fashion. I assure that advance directives are in place for my patients. I create schedules and calendars to meet the needs of my residents high and lower functioning. I schudule Care Plan Meetings when needed to update families of the status of there loved ones. I worked at Bria of Palo's Hills as an Social Service Coordinator. I made sure my patients were discharged with the proper DME and HHC as well as additional services if needed. I continued to schedule Care plan meetings to inform families of the progress of their loved one and to establish a proper discharge plan that is safe and meets the needs of the patient. I'm all for team work. I love to learn new things. I learn fast when I'm hands on.
