I am an employment litigator and defend clients with regard to various employment claims, including -sexual harassment-retaliatory discharge-disability, age, race and sex discrimination, and -wage and hour violations. My representation ranges from charges of discrimination before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state and local administrative agencies to jury and bench trials on employment disputes. Just as important, though, is litigation prevention. Toward that end, I -assist employers in problem prevention and legal analysis of complex employment issues-guide clients through the process of employee discipline and termination-advise on wage and hour compliance, alcohol and drug testing, and employee policies-help with internal employment discrimination and harassment claims-train supervisory employees on employment issues, and -counsel on issues related to mass lay-offs and reductions-in-force.
