About Nancy Marvin

Nancy received her BA from Boston University Magnum Cum Laude where she studied Occupational Therapy in 1976. As well, she holds her MSM in Health Sciences Management from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts which she received in 1993. Over the last 40 years, Nancy has been committed to developing her expertise in the areas of health care, aging, and wellness. She has both operational and marketing management experience in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, independent/assisted living, and continuing care communities. After initially practicing as a Licensed Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts for 10 years, she felt compelled to make a greater contribution to the healthcare industry and held positions which included Regional Director of Rehabilitation and Director of Business Development for several health care companies. For the past 8 years, she assumed the position as Vice President of Business Development for CaraVita Home Care, a family-owned and operated private-duty home care agency in Roswell. Her role was both business development as well as responding to all new inquiries for the company. In the spirit of helping others in a medical crisis or living with a chronic illness, she became certified as a Medical Coach. In this capacity, she offers a restorative process which enables individuals, caregivers, and family members to develop emotional and mental resilience during a medical crisis or condition. Her passion is to help others “thrive beyond illness” so they can experience a life of meaning and self-fulfillment. Recently she left Caravita to move to Mississippi. Due to personal reasons, she is seeking employment back in Atlanta so she can be closer to her mother who is 92 years old.
