As a writer, I balance a business sensibility with creativity. I’m passionate about finding the unique angle that sets a destination, story or business apart. Whatever I'm writing about, I delve into the subject matter to get inside the head and heart of readers. As my company name says, I convey more. to evoke interest, to spark action, to help my clients rise above the cacophony of other voices. ConveyMore Communications is a nod to my name and to what I strive to accomplish. Mies van der Rohe said, “God is in the details” and I agree. When I submit an article, it is thoughtfully written, researched, and fact-checked. Previous experience as an editor and production manager of four magazines strengthened my organizational skills and ability to collaborate efficiently and effectively. My work has appeared in U.S. News & World Report, Chicago Tribune, The Week, Los Angeles Times, Baltimore Sun, Southern Traveler and other publications. I'm also a contributing blogger to the UHealth Collective, a consumer education newsletter published by the University of Miami. When not writing articles and blogs, I create web content and marketing communication materials for a variety of corporate and not-for-profit clients. Professionally, my goals are to provide consistently excellent service to my current clients while attracting additional clients in the health, wellness, and tourism industries.
