About Nancy Nelson
After 25 years in the Health and Fitness Industry, I took a leap of faith because of my passion for working with Parkinson's patients and founded PDEX, LLC in 2009. My mission is to enhance the lives of People with Parkinson's helping them maintain their mobility and quality of life through exercise. I am a certified PWR!Moves Instructor. As a Parkinson's Exercise Expert I implement community programming that adheres to research-based Exercise4BrainChange techniques shown to optimize learning, brain health,and function. My programs address PD-specific problems drawing from a variety of disciplines and exercise modalities. I believe my caring and compassionate style helps participants learn techniques that can be incorporated easily into their daily lives. My classes are conducted in a supportive, non-threatening atmosphere which helps foster new relationships and camaraderie amongst participants.
