I have over 30 years’ experience as a nurse in various organizations and departments. I have experience in nursing management, education, informatics/EHR implementation, operating room, and obstetrical nursing. I am currently the Systems Administrator for Surgical Information Systems (SIS) and assist our facilities as the subject matter expert for Promoting Interoperability. I also serve as the Theradoc systems administrator. I was a super-user for the implementation of the EMR at my facility which included SIS, Siemens Soarian Clinicals and MAK. I was also the builder and super-user for SIS which was integrated into the system. I have received a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration on Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Information Technology from the University of Colorado, Denver.
