I have consistently navigated local diplomatic and cultural challenges to maximize value and service delivery for academic partners – which include institutions, such as Clemson University, Texas A&M, University of Toronto, and Yale among others. I'm a persistent trouble shooter and also an engaging relationship builder. I have a talent for rapidly establishing trust and cooperation from local governments, NGOs, employees and stakeholders.Notable career highlights include:• Used diplomacy to influence buy-in and advance goals of the international academic community.• Established reputation among post-secondary institutions for fostering a low risk and high impact learning environment for any academic discipline.• Developed and maintained an excellent Food and Lodging service to support students' success in addition to a Laboratory, Library, Classroom, Natural History collections, Land use plan and policy.•. Facility with Adobe desktop publishing software and web page software to develop all print and digital marketing and in-house documents and maps. •. Managed the National Host Institute (NHI) for the United Nations Development Program - Global Environmental Facility - Small Grants Program. Appointed to THE GEF-SGP national steering committee for five years. Lead a nation-wide recruitment campaign to select the Country Manager and Assistant.*. Transformed the entire facility into an emergency shelter, housing 14+ displaced families following 2014 Tropical Storm Erika. Worked directly with the Ministry for Social Services and many aid organizations for the ensuing six month period. • Project management support and /or leadership for numerous projects and programs operating from the facility. Credited with leading conference presentations and workshops.Additionally, my practical experience is complemented by a Master of Science in Environmental Science, a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science (Honours), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I also have my CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management).
