About Nancy Parsons

Accomplished professional with thirty years experience in nonprofit management and Development at such institutions as Hospice of the Piedmont, Monticello, the University of Virginia, the Darden Graduate School of Business, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and the National Sporting Library & Museum. Former Trustee of the Westmoreland Davis Memorial Foundation, that owns and manages historic Morven Park. As Director of Development for Hospice of the Piedmont, I am honored to work with our benefactors and volunteers to support hospice care for terminally ill patients and their families throughout a twelve county area in Virginia. In addition to hospice care for patients, we provide special therapeutic programs and grief counseling for adults, teens and children who have lost a loved one. My career path reflects a proven track record of successful nonprofit management, including strategic planning, capital campaigns, Staff, Board and volunteer leadership, managing major gifts and annual fund efforts and personally closing numerous gifts at 6 and 7 figure levels. I have also enjoyed consulting for Little Keswick School. I have an entrepreneurial and creative personality combined with enthusiasm, vision and expertise.
