Families Thrive is a fee for service business working with families facing issues of transition such as birth, death, divorce, relocation, a family member coming out, changes in school, diagnosis of mental or physical illness, etc. Using a combination of parenting consultations + play therapy I listen to understand and then use evidence based interventions to help guide you through your changes. The goal is for individual family members and the family as a whole to stabilize and then thrive. With licensure, certification, and extensive training as a social worker, mediator, play therapist, postpartum doula, and birth educator I can support you comprehensively. And with more than 30 years experience with children of all ages, I am skilled at working across the spectrum of family developmental phases. I provide in-home support services during crisis or periods of high change; otherwise I provide service in my home office. Hours of operation are regular work days but folks can also schedule weekends or evenings if they want me to meet at their home.
