About Nancy Roden

I'm proud to say I'm was IBMer. For the last year and half, I worked on the Performance and Capacity Management team. I am moving back to my home state of Alabama to be near family. Before IBM, I have managed teams for Hughes, Wild Blue (DSI), DTV, DishNet, ADT, and large projects in CCTV. While working with the SMB market I specialized in IT projects for businesses from building customer relationships, writing the SOW (scope of work), forecasting and ordering inventory and bring the project within budget. During 2005-2007 I helped in the research and development of a hardware device. This included the design and upgrade of software of an existing product, showing traction in the market, weekly forecasting, consulting of the contract and training field technicians. The contract signed for 3.2M in revenue. I also have experience that is hard to come by and has given me a well-rounded set of skills that is not found in most upcoming new graduates. In addition to my extensive management experience, my IT background gives me a unique ability to apply technology, in all its forms in business processes. Some of the business process knowledge includes accounting, finance, facilities, inventory control, budgeting, vendor management and various operational processes.
