Dedicated College & Career Counselor | Helping Students Thrive in Their Academic Journey About Me: After a fulfilling 10.5-years at Tilden Preparatory School, watching the school grow from its inception, and serving as Head of School, I decided to pursue a Certificate in College & Career Counseling from UC Berkeley so I could focus on working individually with students as they embarked on the college admissions process. This professional pivot has allowed me to leverage my experience in a small, diverse, 1:1 mastery learning college prep environment, preparing me exceptionally well for my current role. ‍ What I Do: In my current capacity, I wear many hats and am excited to collaborate with students on discovering their ideal academic path. My focus is to guide them through the college planning process while helping them showcase their authentic selves in their applications. I firmly believe in supporting students every step of the way, from self-assessment to developing research skills, creating a balanced college list, navigating the essay writing process, and ensuring timely applications.
