About Nancy Sharma

With over 10 years of experience in the food and public distribution sector, I am a seasoned technical officer with a passion for ensuring food quality, safety, and security for the nation. I have a master's degree in food technology and another in marketing management, which equip me with the knowledge and skills to analyze, manage, and promote food products and services. Currently, I work with the Warehouse Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA), where I play a pivotal role in enhancing the storage facilities and infrastructure across the country. I work with various stakeholders, such as central and state agencies, private sector, and farmers, to implement and monitor the scientific storage, preservation, and handling of food grains. I also oversee the procurement, inspection, and certification of warehouses and food commodities, ensuring compliance with the quality standards and regulations. Additionally, I contribute to the development and execution of various projects and initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the food distribution system and the public welfare.
