Experienced, passionate, outcome-oriented, certified wound care nurse (CWCN) and leader. Dedicated to advancing evidence based wound care in the acute and post acute care setting. Experienced across both inpatient and outpatient Wound and Ostomy service lines, and in current role as an industry advanced wound care clinical leader at Molnlycke Health Care. Proven track record of performance improvement, cost containment, team transformation, team player and enhancing staff engagement through mentoring and education. The perfect environment is one which challenges professionally, is progressive, embraces and practices and promotes evidence based care and procedures. As well as an organization that has high ethical standards and honors values, integrity and strengths. One in which "wins" are celebrated and "challenges" are navigated with an end goal to promote growth and greater individualized understanding. A highlight in my career has been successfully co-establishing Camp Opehay, and The Youth Bipolar Foundation of Northern California, a public benefit 501 c 3 nonprofit. Camp Opehay was a groundbreaking outdoor camp program designed to fully meet the needs of youth ages 10-17 diagnosed with pediatric onset bipolar disorder. Camp Opehay was regarded as a model program within medical communities across the nation.
