A results driven health sector programme manager with extensive background in leading, managing and implementing a variety of complex health systems strengthening programmes in low income settings for 19 years at national and regional level. I have outstanding management, coordination, organisation and communication skills, to expertly utilise for team leadership, programme implementation, driving.organisational vision and priorities, strengthening organisational capacity strengthening through provision of technical assistance, supervision, and mentorship. I am a detail-oriented person who is skillful at stakeholder engagement and relationship building, monitoring and evaluation, and producing outcomes through diligent leadership and fostering team work. I am experienced in programme design, managing donor funds, critical decisions, meeting deadlines, research, fostering culture of quality, and health policy. My track record includes achieving optimum programme results, meeting targets, resource mobilisation, and cross team collaboration. My greatest strengths are in leadership and management, understanding low income country health systems at all levels, strategic planning, efficiency and cost effectiveness in programme management, technical and financial management, health system strengthening, and networking to build and maintain relationships. As a passionate Public Health researcher for over several years now my career aim is to contribute to robust equitable Health systems that are aligned with my beliefs of Universal Health Coverage as a key enabler for sustainable Global Health and population development.
