About Nanda Horeweg
Currently working as assistant professor at Leiden University Medical Center at the dep. of Radiation Oncology. Medical doctor by training. Clinical epidemiologist specialised in cancer research. By determining the efficacy, side effects and impact on quality of life of cancer treatments and conducting biomarker studies I aim to personalize care and reduce over- and undertreatment. Other interests include sustainability of cancer care. I coordinate international clinical trials, and conduct translational research studies. I connect multidisciplinary research teams and bring expertise on methodology and statistical analysis. My group consists of 9 PhD students and I am a dedicated mentor of young scientists.
