About Nandi Baldwin

Nandi Baldwin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and advocate in the LGBTQ community. Nandi has nine years of experience working with non-profits and University programs in New Mexico. Nandi is highly skilled in program development and management, supervising staff to implement events and programming, and training culturally diverse groups. Nandi has a long history of community organizing and networking within the non-profit and LGBTQ communities. Nandi is dedicated to seeing advancements in the safety and rights of the LGBTQ community through advocacy, educational trainings and counseling. Nandi has a vast background of serving as President for NMALGBTIC (New Mexico Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Issues in Counseling), a board member for GLSEN Albuquerque (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network), New Mexico Counseling Association, UNM Safe Zone Trainer, Agora Crisis Line, and an Americorps Alum. Self care is highly important in our field and in that spirit, Nandi enjoys traveling, road biking, dancing and spending time with her two dogs.
