About Naomi Baker

Naomi is known as a highly self-motivated individual with goal-driven work ethic. Graduating from Chico State University in 2020, Naomi earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. During Naomi's coursework, she was granted the opportunity to study abroad in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where her primary area of research was Social Entrepreneurship, Global Health Psychology, Buddhism in Thailand, and Thai Language. Naomi was responsible for managing a small law office by scheduling all client appointments, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within and outside the workgroup, and providing support to her company’s marketing team by demonstrating basic knowledge of campaign setup and facilitating general copy editing. Naomi has the ability to work efficiently under pressure while also resolving client complaints and problems by generating options and alternate solutions to specific situations. In addition, Naomi's Public Relations internship with Nadel Phelan Inc. allowed her to provide her team administrative support by planning their marketing events, updating social media pages and creating client information packages while working on the computer in a fast paced environment. This internship allowed her to receive her certification of Fundamentals in Media Relations. Naomi is now the Director of Operations at Cantor BioConnect, Inc, a small CRO located in Santee, CA. Her responsibilities include leading negotiations, budgeting, and putting efficient workflows in place to maximize Cantor BioConnect’s productivity and performance. Throughout Naomi's previous positions, she has gained experience and knowledge of the fundamentals of public affairs and media relations, marketing and marketing research, legal research, public speaking and communication skills, problem solving and teamwork.
