Background
About Naomi Bruce
Hosting coordinator for Positive Action in Housing's community bases Room for Refugees programme supporting destitute asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants into hosting placements. Currently tutoring English as a second language, as well as volunteering as a translator for INSP (International Network of Street Papers). Graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Interpreting and Translation French/German at Heriot-Watt University. This programme provided me extensive communication skills in my two foreign languages as well as in English. I developed skills in consecutive and simultaneous conference interpreting, and in translation across a wide range of fields (FR, DE>EN).
