About Naomi Cryan

I am an incoming MSc student in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies at the London School of Economics, with a First-Class Honours degree in International Relations (with Study Abroad) from the University of Exeter. With experience in insurance customer success and mentoring, I have built a foundation in client engagement, risk awareness, and project coordination At Laka, I work as a Customer Success Intern in the insurance sector, focusing on user satisfaction, engagement, and relationship management in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This role has strengthened my ability to analyse client needs, solve problems efficiently, and deliver high-quality support within a regulated industry. Previously, I founded and led the Politics Mentoring Program at the University of Exeter, a scheme that earned me the prestigious Goldsmith Prize for two consecutive years. This role strengthened my ability to design initiatives, manage stakeholders, and deliver impactful results at scale. I am fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, with intermediate proficiency in Italian, enabling me to thrive in multilingual, international contexts. My semester abroad at IE University in Madrid further enhanced my adaptability and ability to work with diverse teams, including peers from diplomatic and policy backgrounds. I am particularly interested in roles that involve analytical skills, risk awareness, and effective problem-solving.
